Tal efeito come\u00e7a a notar-se mesmo com o consumo de menos de 3 cigarros por dia!<br \/>\nQuanto maior o n\u00famero de cigarros fumados diariamente, menores o peso e o comprimento dos filhos ao nascer, assim como menor o QI avaliado nos testes de intelig\u00eancia quando jovens.<br \/>\nEstes resultados v\u00eam confirmar que fumar durante a gravidez pode trazer consequ\u00eancias s\u00e9rias a longo prazo nos filhos, inclusive com compromisso do desenvolvimento intelectual.<\/p>\n<p><em>Mortensen EL et al.
